About me
Maria is the Instructional Specialist and K–12 Arts Education Coordinator for the South Carolina Arts Commission, leading work in curriculum and instruction across the state. She collaborates with ArtsGrowSC partners to strengthen arts-based teaching and student engagement through the arts. Her role includes leading PreK–12 arts-integrated curriculum development and designing professional learning for educators and colleagues. With over 15 years in public education, she also supports the Creative Careers Studio team by developing curriculum and instructional materials for work-based learning experiences in creative careers.
