About me
Miranda Leopard is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the principal of West Pelzer Elementary School. She brings over 20 years of experience in education, including the last 12 years at West Pelzer, where she has served as a literacy coach, assistant principal, and now principal. Miranda is passionate about ensuring high levels of learning for all students and supporting teachers in delivering strong, effective instruction. She leads with the belief that we can do hard things, encouraging both students and staff to embrace challenges and grow through their learning. During her time at West Pelzer, she has helped lead the school to numerous accomplishments, including becoming a Model PLC and Lighthouse School, earning an Excellent/Gold report card rating, and being recognized as a South Carolina Blue Ribbon School for Closing the Achievement Gap. She is committed to building a school where all students and staff grow, lead, and succeed together.
