About me
Elizabeth Schumpert is honored to serve as the Team Lead for the Palmetto Math Project. She has 28 years of experience in public education in South Carolina. Before joining the S.C. State Department of Education, Elizabeth spent 26 years in Saluda County Schools as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal, interim principal, and Director of Student Support Services. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from Winthrop University, a Master's of Education from Columbia College, and an Ed.S. in School Administration and Leadership from Clemson University. Outside of work she enjoys spending time on the water with her husband of 34 years, two adult sons, and her English Springer Spaniel.
