About me
Meredith Dantzler brings more than a decade of experience in education, with a comprehensive understanding of the educator pipeline from elementary classroom teaching to school leadership and statewide program direction. She served six years as an elementary teacher and three years as an assistant principal in Anderson District Three, where she was named District Teacher of the Year in 2019 and represented her district in the State Teacher Forum. She has also served as a mentor and mentor trainer, supporting the growth and development of educators across her district. Meredith earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from the College of Charleston, her Master of Education from Anderson University, and her Education Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Clemson University. She is a National Board Certified educator. A former Teacher Cadet herself, Meredith’s connection to the Center for Educator Recruitment, Retention, and Advancement (CERRA) began in high school. She joined the organization in 2023 and now serves as Director of Pre-Collegiate Programs, where she leads statewide initiatives designed to inspire, recruit, and develop the next generation of South Carolina educators.
