About me
Before Nate Chrisman ever stepped onto a national stage or built a life-changing curriculum, he was just a kid in Ohio who believed that life could be different—and better—if someone simply showed up and cared. Today, Nate is the Founder and CEO of THECLEFT, a nonprofit organization delivering critical support to teens, schools, and communities. He’s also the creator of GOODLIFE—a movement and a nationally expanding curriculum, resource, and lifestyle brand helping people build lives they love. Based in South Carolina, with his wife, Mindy, and their five children, Nate has turned his passion into purpose, equipping people to overcome life’s hardest moments and seize its greatest opportunities. Nate and his team’s award-winning community-based strategy has been nationally recognized for its powerful impact. Through this work, they empower communities to equip individuals with the tools, mindset, and resilience needed to make positive life choices and build a future they love. Nate has been invited to share this approach on national stages, including: The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, The National Rx Drug Abuse & Heroin Summit, The Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Learning Network, The National Association of Counties as a national “Best in Class” award recipient, and Marshall University’s School of Excellence for Recovery. Nate’s storytelling is personal, his passion is contagious, and his message is simple: everyone should feel seen, supported, and strong enough to build a life they love.
